Costco makes everybody happy

I went to Costco in Cerritos today and it never ceases to amaze me how excellent Costco can be in surprising costumers and making them come out truly satisfied as a consumer. Gas at $2.79 unleaded regular versus what every other place has been charging (e.g., $2.95) ? Okay. Provided you are a Costco member of course. But that's still cheap gas!

Of course, Costco is well known for their Hebrew National hotdogs, and when priced at $1.79 for regular or polish with a side fountain drink, that is a great deal! Not to mention they're yummy. But something truly amazed me today and that was the chicken bake. No wait! Not chicken bake. Carne asada bake.

Yes. Carne. Asada.

The normal chicken bake has chicken breast strips, bacon, ranch dressing, and melted cheese contained within a baked crispy parmesan dough. The carne asada version doesn't have the chicken, bacon, and the ranch. Instead, what you get is carne asada meat, pico de gallo, guacamole, and melted cheese. Like a burrito, but oh-so-warm and delicious in the tummy. Very good stuff. It's slightly more expensive (around twenty cents more) but so worth it. Everyone should definitely try it if their Costco has it.
