Not born of panda, but born of ice!

Pandas enjoy reading from time to time, and what better way to understand the human language than from reading novels and watching television. Leiwei remembers once upon a time, he read a book named Twilight that made him wonder if the Edward character opened a glimpse into his inner feminine side. Nonetheless, Leiwei enjoyed Twilight from book 1 to book 4.


Fast forward to today, and we hear about Sherrilyn Kenyon coming out with her third book titled Book of Ice from her latest series, The League. For those interested in vampires and shapeshifters, The League is a completely different take on fantasy. There are no monsters or handsome studs turning into cute puppies in Kenyon's latest. Nope. Instead, The League focuses on the world of the Ichidian Universe and a maniacal tyrant hell-bent on being the single ruler of an entire empire. And with that in mind, we all know there's bound to be some that oppose this kind of malicious behavior. These people are called The League Assassins, and they're the type of anti-hero you see making sure the world is right [or maybe wrong].


In this new book, the story focuses on two new characters, Devyn and Alix, both having a sort of relationship with The League, and both having to deal with the issues they have with their past and the organization as they discover the costs of their actions.
